Vacation Rental - Tuscany Italy - Podere Il Pino

I spent a week in this beautiful and very affordable villa in the heart of Tuscany named "Podere Il Pino". The long dirt road into the domain was surrounded by fields of sunflowers and poppies and groves of olive trees throughout rolling green hills. Heaven! The domain has several apartments and a few detached villas. All rentals have a view of the fourteen towers of San Gimignano as well as from the pool. It helps if you can speak some conversational Italian.  Franco, the gardener, is the only person on staff during the day. If you need something, like a light bulb or getonis for the laundry, you have to ask Franco, and he only speaks Italian.  As always, Italian people are very warm and friendly. Franco and I managed to communicate with my broken Italian and a lot of pointing and smiling.
